Word on the street, or “web” I guess, is that the pre-orders are available starting today.. Let’s just say a bird told me so.. Actually, it was Janesta [she told me a week ago].. JB she’s known as on this board.. So let the fever begin!! I am trying to imagine that there are people who are just foaming at the mouth to get this news. It’ll end up being way more casual I’m sure.. Like 3 or 4 people every day or so reading this post while eating a sandwich and or talking on the phone.. Michael and I will account for two of these people on the first few days.. Michael will say something to the effect of “Oh yeah, I forgot Paul told me about that… nice” & I will say something more to the effect of “Oh yeah, I forgot I wrote that.. niiice..”
Anyway.. the option is there if you want to order the record early..
Heading to Glasgow via Halifax tonight on one of those red-eye flights.. Mixing for the Wintersleep record has begun.. I feel like a lazy beaver though, a couple days behind Tim & Loely getting there.. UK flights to Halifax are never red-eyes.. Oh well.. It is direct.. I was talking to this fellow who seemed to know his stuff on the shuttle to Halifax today and he said it was “apparently the way to go”. I will keep you posted if anything funny happens on the trip or at the very least draw a picture of myself or someone on the flight or in my jet laggy dreams later that night.. Now that I said this I feel like nothing funny will happen, or I will trick myself into thinking something is funny just so I can write about it and then there will be this really forced “story” about my “craaazy flight” or a picture of some cartoony animal-ish looking “dream-like” thing that you and I will both know I didn’t see on the flight or in any dream..

I may not be foaming, but salivating slightly? Yes, yes I think so. I have a query. And I’m not sure if I’m just being stupid, but when I tried to pre-order, I didn’t see Canada listed in the countries. I mean it’s no trouble to head out to my nearest cool record store, ooobviously. But I like the sounds of a bonus track. So prey tell, is Canada in that list and I’m just being a silly type?

I’m Really looking forward to getting this album but will be waiting for the HDD release on vinyl later this month. No mention of bonus tracks included for that release but hoping to hear them somehow. Enjoy your time across the pond!

will Encyclopedia and Baltic be on the new CD? Both are great, i remember when you came to Los Angeles last March to open for An Horse, I requested Encyclopedia, really good song. But the venue was really shitty, along with the mexican radio guy that was going on before the show and in the begining of Miasmal Smoke. Im not suprised you havent come to California again, i was the only person there to see you.
