Freddy

The namesake of a very scary horror movie character (when I was 13 I thought he was scary anyway). My friend always watched horror movies, and I was so scared of them I used to actually call home and get my mom to pick me up if we had to watch one, and id make up some excuse that was anything but of course “fear”. Also a nickname for a very lovely town in New Brunswick. We are in Rimouski right now, or driving past soon. Shivering Songs tomorrow. For some reason the name of a cool movie popped in my head: “Ravenous.” Guy Pearce pre famous Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle. Great soundtrack. Was talking about this actually last night too with a fellow named Leif Vollebek, who we shared the stage with. Creepy but also an amazing movie. Great soundtrack.
